Continuous assessment (CA) just finished! But suckishly, 2 exams were post-ponded.

Physio : inappropriate venue as they dont occupy enuf students.

Epidemio : its TODAY but due to last minute declaration by the university that today is a half-day holiday. N our exam is from 2-4pm. zzz

Lets for get about d stupid CA ok? Enjoy my break 1st. But is it a break if there's still exam coming up and ASSIGNMENTS to do? =,="

Nvm, throw that aside, now i'm in KL. Drove 5 hours, 1st time. Really tiring. Noob right? XD

B4 CA, convocation took place. So i booked a hawaii pizza by dominos.

Collected it at the booths where different programs also opened their stalls.

Haven been updating in a while. Well dont really have the moods of blogging these days. 1 word explains it all - LAZINESS. XD
I enjoy decorating the room, hanging glow-in-the-darks, we added more stars to them, now can count stars b4 we sleep. XD

We've been given a project to interview a real live entrepreneur, so our decision was the boss of LeBoss.

Eric suggested to decorate our room since its quite dull. So i helped and the idea is glow-in-the-darks.

this is at eric's side. Mine and Faisal's haven cos we don't have enough.

i did this part, hanging them. I'll update again when i buy more glow-in-the-darks. XD

Too bad cannot take a picture of them glowing in the dark. It will definitely look better.

Love for food, Freedom to choose

Last week on thursday night, went to a restaurant call Love & Freedom. [sry didnt take a pic of the front entrance >,<]

Went with my roommate Eric, with 2 ladies, Inderpreet and Sharon. [From left]

sry for the dark picture, weirdly, its brighter than with flash. =,="

the ambience is very romantic, dim lights with love songs playing on the speakers. [no wonder they call it Love & Freedom restaurant] They have A LOT of sofas. I should had took a pic of the VIP room, it looks unique. And a bar at the left, can drink alcohol. XD

But from my point of view, i think the title of the restaurant is a bit........wrong.

1st off, there are NO couple seats at all, so NO love. Unless they meant by developing love there, then i accept. XD

2nd, freedom? If i get the freedom i can kiss my gf there anytime i want without showing public affection? And its in a restaurant, i prefer not to do that. =D

3rd, the shelf in the picture is full of remote control cars. All the potraits hanging on the wall, are Nissan Skyline R34. [the owner must really like that car, no doubt, its from fast and furious]

Anyway enough with the complains, lets go to the food. 4 of us ordered dinner sets. So we all have the same drink same soup.

lemon green tea? Not green also. More like lemonade.

they call it egg soup. Very small amount of egg in it and it tastes like the soup from Kuey Tiao Soup.

I ordered curry cheese baked rice with baby octupus [those red thing in the picture].

Eric ordered Gordon Bleu, which actually originates from Germany. Made from Weiner Schnitzel [or better known as chicken chop] stuffed with a slice of ham and cheeeeeese.

while the ladies, ordered some sort of chicken chop i cant remember the name.

Anyway, looking at the bigger picture and from the other 3 people's point of view, they say the portion is small. [I agree too] U better off spending yr dinner in LeBoss which gives more variety, though there is no drink bar there. XD

Within 2 hours is 31st of August. Merdeka! ok 1 cheer is enough. =,=" This year's merdeka is really cold, due to H1N1. Oh well, save the environment from fireworks. =P

I'll end this blog by putting up 2 photos of a pair of sunglasses my dad gave me, since he has an extra. Well save me the money and trouble of choosing a sunglasses. Thanks dad. ^^

I've wanted to b like Dr. Gregory House from the medical drama House. He's my role model [besides the jerk part]. Though he is a fictional character, I want to think like him.

That's where my passion for studying medicine comes in. Its really great that my dream came true! [well dream of studying to b a doctor. XD]

It has been 1 week after my course started [without considering orientation]. I found medicine, its DIFFICULT. Well ntg is easy in this world right. But my passion is there, i will fight on! =D

Subjects i love : all MCBM [molecular and cellular basis medicine. E.G. anatomy, biochem.....]

Subjects i hate : all HBM [human basis medicine. E.G. Epidimiology, bioethics....]

no choice but have to pass all. HBM subjects r to produce GOOD doctors. Oh well, I have no choice right. >,<

Speaking of which, 2 frens of mine have coupled up. I dunno how to say, is it expected, or suprising? XD

If by chance u r these 2 frens reading this blog, i'm glad n happy for u. =D

But they make me jealous, cos my dearest is not with me. I miss her SO SO MUCH just by looking at them holding hands. T_T

Oh well, for my own future, I will study, study and study! [and of cos, sms n make calls XD]

Went Seberang Prai City mall n bought a new pair of shoes. Initially wanted to buy a pair of nikes. But ended up with Asics. Wanted to try something different n compare the brands. Cos Asics is from Japan, Nike is from America.

PRESETING [drumroll]............ASICS...Gel 1130!!!! The promoter told me that once ppl start with Asics, they dont go back to adidas nor nikes.

here's the sole, with AHAR+, no idea what its stands for, but its for stickiness of the treads and maintain it.

Nike's Air, Adidas' bounce, Asics' GEL. Cushion of cos.

this shoe is double gel, which is equivalent to full Air/ full bounce, front n back has gel inside the sole.

speva, use to prevent change of shape of the sole.

duomax, is for the comfort of d centre part of d leg due to different stiffness of the rubber.

OVERALL, i admit its more comfortable than my previous nikes. It seems the promoter was right that initially the sole will b a bit stiff, but as time passes it softens n provides more cushion. no regrets changing to this shoe. =D

yesterday was orientation n 2 days ago was registration day of MBBS in AIMST. Now i'm blogging in AIMST. XD here's my, preparing my hair to go aimst.

2 more days before going back aimst. OMG can i STOP TIME!? I still remembered that i started blogging cos too much time. Now i'm fully packed, but i managed to squize 1 small part of time to update my blog.

On the 6th, its my 1st time going to Pavilion and my girlfriend brought me there. It's NOT the last time hanging out with her, last for my holidays. =P

i bought myself a headset, Sonigear xanadu X1000. I need 1 cos i have no mic for internet calls [except the built-in 1 in my laptop which i need to shout only can b recorded] RM50 for the best headset which comes together with a mic from sonigear, really worth. =D oh ya n my laptop had this Audio codec problem that made me sounded like a robot. But problem fixed. [happy now Fai? XD]

Other than that, i bought a 500 GB ext harddisk for zi hui. [Gal u owe me RM350!] XD

Wow its so fast! I still remember the last time i told my chef that i wanted to stop around august. And just by walking in, ask for availability, i got my part time job. Have to appreciate it, since the chef said i'm the 1st n last part timer for kitchen staff.

At least now i've learned to cook. B4 i started i remember i still can even hold a knife. XD Sry this blog is gonna bit boring, no pictures. Only a few. Now those cooking skills will b useful once i study as a non-hosteller.

Well ntg else to write about my job. Just that, i'm very thankful i chose Sushi Tei for my part time job. Reasons?

Learned to cook, make sushi, and to taste, not just by eating. XD

Last but not least, i've met my girlfriend there. ^^ if i didnt went n work there, i wouldnt had met her.

These are leftover sushi that are not sold out at night. They usually throw them away. Such a waste. >,<

My mum has sold her 30+ years old Honda Prelude [2nd generation].

well its a fully imported car, n been used by my mum for a VERY VERY long time. Perhaps 25 years. It's really old, even the rims had cracked.

Me n my mum r gonna miss this car, cos it has a great engine.

Its very unique n its considerably powerful. Imagine if u r in the 1970's driving such an engine, is like driving a Mitsubishi Evo of the present.

Well its a great car, but it has to go, look at my sad face.

So now my mum, has bought a NEW CAR. Frankly i'm not excited about it, cos its, a TOYOTA VIOS. =,=

Its too common. U can c it all around the roads.

If u wanna know more about the specs, go ask yr neighbour, they might own 1. =P

Speaking about cars, last week i saw a Porche 356 right opposite of tropicana mall.

The amazing fact about this car is its the 1st production automobile by porsche in 1948.

i was shocked to c STEAM coming out of those vents at the rear. It's really an antique, worth lotsa money.

2nd, a reminder for those who love smarties or M&Ms, few days ago i accidentally dropped half a pack of M&Ms on the floor. XD

wow so colourful. =P Anyway i swept them up, this is how much i dropped.

I noticed the BLUE 1 has the most colouring. Then gave it a little shake,

Went with 5 blokes, from left Faisal, Ravin [btw, he's going to Manipal, not AIMST, will miss u buddy! T_T], Pala [that hairless head right beside Ravin n behind Yi Cheng XD], Yi Cheng, and Surrej. Sry for the blurness.

Unfortunately none of us took photographs cos we kept our phones in the locker. ZZZ Ended up only took 2, which is only 2 tigers. =,="

Yesterday was Edmund, my best fren's birthday. Well Edmund, if u r reading this, HAPPY BIRTHDAY again mate! =D

We went Manhattan Fishmarket in Ikano. Feel bad that he has to b d driver AGAIN. Anyway, here's a pic of their place.

Yeah it looked [and it was] really delicous! Fish fillet, their FLAMING PRAWNS [they call it flaming cos they torch it upon serving], fries, garlic rice, calamari, oyster ball.

The portion was REALLY BIG! We couldnt finish in the end. >,<

I was FREAKIN FULL and STUFFED. Can even barely breath. XD

Edmund also full like gonna die. XD

Lets not talk about the price ok, it was my 1st time at Manhattan n i treated him dinner, so I didnt bother bout the price b4 and after paying.

Just to update, ntg interesting happening in life [besides my love life with my gf XD]. So it was on 2nd of july, my best fren edmund brought me to swensons SS2 to meet up with a girl that i haven seen her for DECADES. Her name is Noelle.

We knew each other either in kindergarden or primary 1 in SRJK Puay Chai, when i was still in KL. Then b4 i moved to kulim, we haven contacted each other anymore. Well whatcha expect, having handphones during primary 1 like kids nowadays? XD

Anyway, we went swensons, n i ordered a RM16 ice cream, forgot d name. XD Just to treat myself since i recieved my cheque on d same day too.

Kitchen work is kinda tough at times. When u need to b fast, shit happens. A warning 1st, dont read on if u r having a full stomach or feeling hungry cos u might lose yr appetite.

...

yesterday while i was cutting salmon skin. Have to make them small pieces like fries n deep fry it. So While i was cutting it kinda fast, i accidentally SLICED off a piece of my flesh!

i took this pic on spot. Looks like ntg much right? [I should had take d picture of my flesh =P]

i used 4 plusters n 3 clothes bandages cos there was too much bloos coming out. It bleeded even after 6 hrs.

Anyway here how it looks after i remove d bandage.

Its no small injury! Here's d prove of the depth of the wound.

That's the left hand. And just yesterday i got injured, i got another this morning on the same finger but different hand!

zzz. Just only a cut though. Lost a lot of blood too. =P Dam wei, both side also injured, cant type properly. Cant even play games! XD

Quite unfortunate recently in the kitchen. Have lotsa more small cuts here n there. Have to be more careful. I promised my sweetheart that i'll avoid injuries, n look what happened. =,="

I know its 5 days after my birthday, but i had lotsa things to do, n bit lazy to blog also. XD

Anyway, on 12th of June, I went to pizza hut in TTDI to celebrate with my girlfren and my best fren. [sry no pics of him, i forgot =P] So here's a picture of her on spot.

it was d best bday so far. It was so embarrasing cos after we finished our pizza, they bring out d cake with candles n d whole pizza hut was playing d bday song. [looking forward to my next bday, dunno whats gonna happen =D]

after that she brought us to TTDI plaza, she say the lightings for d celling is very beautiful, n so IT IS!

Ok on d 14th, my mum wants to celebrate my bday by treating me a buffet in Palace of the Golden Horses. She also invited my girlfren, so we went together with another 2 of my mum's collegues.

Ate in 1 of d restaurant, called Carousel restaurant, ate buffet.

Look at their pastery, so cool n looks tasty!

yeah and we walked around, took some pics with her too.

about d gift from God, her name is Low Siew Kuan, and ANGELS DO EXIST! =D we are now in a relationship. ^^

1st time REAL cooking =D

OK last time my 1st cooking was spagetti [it was my 1st blog post too]. This 1 is different. I try to make something from my cooking experience in sushi Tei.

So its not my 1st time frying, cos i fried something else while working di.

Whats the food? Its 'seafood' fried maggi noodles.

Ingredients? Here they are.

chinese cabbage, took 2 piece [which i noticed its not enuf after i fried it], slice n boil them

dunno how long i boiled them.

crabsticks, cut them into small pieces say 6/7 pieces per stick.

fry some dried prawns, make d noodle crunchy bit,

cut 5/6 spring onions, make them really small [smaller than wan tan mee spring onions].

And d results? Vuala!

of cos i cant take a picture while i'm frying right? XD oh and an egg and some soy sauce with 2 spoon of sambal while frying.

Today on my way to work, ntg unusual. I go to work with a 1980's yamaha motorbike. Lazy to walk even though is 10 min walking distance. XD

What's unsual, its after i reach tropicana n park my bike. Look at this pic 1st,

I swear, d engine of d bike is still running, but the key was LOST. So i dunno how to switch it off. So what to do?

I tried using my house key to switch it off, n it works =,="

So how did i came back home with d bike in 1 piece? I tried turning on d bike with d same house key, n look!

IT WORKED! It left me speechless. =,= But compare to d original key, my house key is completely different.

Top original motorcycle key [the key i lost was d spare ones, luckily =D] bottom my house key.

Interesting eh? My story is no lie, i can prove it to u. XD

The title explains it all. I'm so freakin sad about my nikes.

here they r, RM300 Nike Air. This is the model which had the highest sale last year in the US.

N looked what happened 2 days after i came back from genting,

left shoe,

right shoe.

How PAIN it is! Dunno can repair or not. I went cobbler once, superglued it, n it still came off. Well i mean d left shoe. 1 weared it like for 1 year only, n RM300 gone. zzz

Well, this shows that kitchen work need to walk a lot, n is not good for running/sport shoes. So i bought this pair as a temporary shoe for d next 2 months.

I bought this cos of the sole which looks very good [and it is] for kitchen floor. The brand?

Well just RM70 i bought from a Bata shop. Is heavy, hard cushion, n looks so clumsy.

Well, sakit hati, lost a really good shoe. Will c what shoe to get next time, with my savings i earned. XD

we went and gunned down some aliens, sry no pics for that, forgot to take =P, but we did went for pool though. Not to show off, those 3 buggers cant beat me in pool XD

On the way back, we went down through d cable car.

then we go back together by bus, though we reached d bottom at 3, and d bus is at 4.30, we used our time by playing black jack.

iphone KILLER!

I'm getting a new phone by next month. Currently i'm using Sony Ericsson S500. It's 1.5 years old di. Here r the reasons y i wanna change it,

The camera sometimes malfunction. It says unable to open camera, pls close all applications, even though i've closed all di.
Sometimes the photos i took when the camera works, the pictures just disappears, literally. Just when i wanna transfer into my laptop, i can't find it in my phone anymore.
the # button has problems. Have to press real hard, even if it works, it typed twice.

Keypad cracks, look at it! only the * and 0 button still haven crack.The new phone i plan to buy now is call Nokia 5800 Express Music. [How "express" can it b? Or Nokia just cant find a better name, unlike SE, walkman]

So y iphone killer? well few good reasons

5800 price at RM1.3k. iphone price at RM2.2k. But specs r not much different! iphone may have better effects/graphics, n also applications like internet signal strength reader, weather forecast, but its the near RM1k difference worth? I've seen n used an iphone 3G b4, but compare to 5800, is like u marry Celine Dion for her voice, but yr neighbourhood girl has the same voice.
3.2mp camera for 5800, iphone uses 2mp camera.

it may look more big, more solid, but is the RM1k difference worth?

Anyway another good competitor is the SE P5/Paris.

Also a touchscreen phone, but there r disadvantages.

It is as UGLY as an A**
It looks shiny. But for phones, shiny = plastic = easily get scratches.
Small qwerty keyboard. Just compare with the person's finger. It's gonna b difficult to type.
5mp camera, means its sure cost around RM1.5k/1.6k?

Penang PC Fair 2009!! PC geek? XD

Haha! 2 pc fairs in 2 weekends. I got ntg to do huh. Actually cos in that morning went n met with Jo Reem. Then b4 visiting my god-sis, I drop by in the penang PC fair. Just so i can compare the price with KL PC fair.

So b4 i talk about the PC fair, here's some photos i took on my way back on the bus from KL.

Held in PISA [Penang International Sports Arena]. Hey i remember i went with Yi Cheng & Faizal last year! After the fair I sent Faizal to Penang Airport. (Fantasizer u owe me 1 XD)

The entrance. Its also very packed. But not as pack as in KL. Think cos it was saturday. Today is the last day, should b just like KL.

The "map" is a bit different from KL. But i gotta say, i really can compare, KL PC fair is really 4 times bigger, cos it is seperated into HALLS.

Its also kinda packed. =P

Penang PC fair starts from the outside circle area 1st. Then it then leads to the arena. [FYI the arena its just as big as 1 HALL of KL PC fair, thats y its 4/5 times bigger in KLCC]

BAD news! Some photos i took, is gone from my memory card. =,=" I need a new phone badly. But some remains inside.

Anyway, 1st of cos i reach Suria KLCC

Bowling disaster

Today is sunday n i should b working. But something happened so just to update my blog i write this.

Yesterday went bowling twice, in the morning n in the night.

Morning was follow my mum to her bowling alley cos she is the Guru Penasihat of Assunta's bowling club. Follow for what? Get to bowl ma instead of just sitting at home dota-ing. XD

Night was a plan made by the PROs. [pros as i mean the mssd, msss players representing their school]. Their score is 120++, no doubt from state players. So go have fun la.

Learned some tips from an International player name Kay Yen. [a serious pro, born bowler, went to philiphines, thailand, taiwan.....and joined the Malaysian bowling team].

Since its my 1st time bowl for twice a day, disaster came when I tried some of tips and STRAINED my neck and shoulder. 10 min later i straight called my chef for a day off. So thats what happened n now i'm free so just came blogging. XD

Sorry no pictures, cos if i take any, ppl might think i'm a pervert. =P [Obviously cos assunta is a girl school]. Update another time yeah, I need to rest my neck. XD

Lame title? Well I could had wrote Cheng Beng (praying ceremony to our ancestors), but i didnt take any pics cos it was in a temple, n i find it rude if i take.

Anyway ntg much interesting also la, just very crowded. Now back in KL got free time just blog la. (U C FAI!! I dont DOTA only OK! XD)

Yesterday reached taiping n this morning went cheng beng. So lets start with the dinner yesterday night. We called for 6 dishes.

mixed vege with more broccoli

steam fish with asam pedas as its sauce

butter prawn and claypot pork with some dunno what black sauce

fried onions and chickens.

And yes it was really tasty. So here's her house. Such old houses were only sold b4 taiping turns to a city. It was the 1st area where the shops were built n upstair r rooms.

After u enter the house, the small hall is dark. I didnt take the pic cos obviously it was dark n ntg interesting. Walk out of the hall, left side is the dinner table.

Small huh. 2 tables but the round 1 is fully occupied.

on the left after the kitchen is the sink. U can actually c the road from there, is where u do the dishes, wash yr hands, brush yr teeth, everything is done there. If u walk on is the toilet n the bathroom, its shown below.

Really old kitchen. The only thing thats electronic its the light, the fridge, an old rice cooker. Everything else is antique.

Update again since I got ntg much to do here in Kulim.

The day after I came back, went for my braces appointment. Not a problem driving there, but b4 coming back, the car couldn't start. Battery was weak. =,=" My dad came 30 min later n jump start my car.

Then bought calcium batteries which i dunno how it works, no need to refill with battery water. [i know, dont care of whats going on with my car]

So what i've done this week is i straighten my front part of my hair. Here's a pic.

Well in our era now, u dont like something, change it. But if u can't change it, change the way u think about it. XD

I came back on a saturday. And its already friday! (well 12.30 am 27th, its a friday wat =P)

Few days ago went penang met with my god-sis and went dinner with a new friend. [well new cos its the 2nd time i c her in person].

Yesterday morning i just saw this in my toilet.

a cockroach got stuck like this picture below,

he looks miserable. XD I left the cockroach there since then. It disappeared when i went back there at night. Mayb my brother had "cleaned" it.

Anyway its already March 27th. I started working on Feb 12 or 13th i forgot. Really fast already 1 month.

Thats it about now, again i proved that i DO have time to update besides dota-ing only. XD Will update again soon. TC every1.

Today is quite a memorable day. I just came back from KL and now in Kampung Kulim 2.5 hrs ago.

This morning was a bit rough, i woke up early to catch an earlier bus n look what happened.

this is what u get from being half awake n rush for the door, i knock my face on a plastic door. Half awake? well after i knock i'm completely awake then. XD

So I left for Kulim, reach the bus stop at 11 am, n the earliest bus is on 1 pm. 2 hrs free time walked to Time Square. And suprisingly there's this convention going on.

So my time passed easily overthere cos it was really awesome being there!

Yeah it was quite lively. (from here itself u can c a few gals wearing costumes, anime cosplay huh.)

This time I update cos someone keeps reading people's blogs instead of go finding a job.

Anyway I think I just write a few stuff la.

1. Why I wanna work as a chef assistant?

Can learn to cook, so i dont have to eat AIMST food everyday, if i have the opportunity

2. Why Sushi Tei?

10 min walk, no transport problem, save cost, and can learn to make sushi (which i noticed now its quite simple). XD

3. Why so late only blog?

I rather DOTA than blog, cos ntg to blog, no photos (sorry, cant take any photos cos obviously i'm working)

4. Another day another dollar?

Yeah a good quote cos i got used to the working already. 10 am to 4 pm, come back, DOTA, very relaxing.

5. How long are you gonna work?

Perhaps till July, month b4 the intake? I love this life here, REALLY relaxing + easy money + time flies = continue working. Of cos have to stop la, I rather study mbbs than work in a kitchen thats risky n i might chop my hands off accidentally.

This is suprising not only to my friends, but also to my aunts or anybody who are related to me. 1st time working, getting a job, suprising? Shouldn't be. Working in a sushi restaurant as a cook, suprising? 1st word pops out are either WHAT! or HUH!. XD

I got a lists of benefits, which are :

1st time working
Earn money (most important) XD, quite high the pay they gave me
Cooking experience since I dunno how to cook
Can make some food next time in my campus if I have the indgredients
Eat some time instead of staying in front of the pc screen n DOTA whole day
Can steal bits of food here and there while i'm cooking (must not let the chef see) =P
Make new friends
Understood how my parents earn their money hard for me, so must not keep spending

This is so far of what i can think of. Here's the station I work

nothing much actually, just a regular kitchen.

I'm in charge of some of the deep fry foods. In that bowl is Tempura Ko, use for prawns.

Here is the long chopping board, from front, there's the stand-by plate (for stand-by b4 peak hours), chicken katsu (fillet in japanese), soft shell crab, white powder (the real name is in japanese and is complicated), Tofu (for serving Agetashi Tofu), breader mix (another powder), tempura powder, and the vegetable plate.

The front door of the restaurant, in tropicana city mall, call Sushi Tei. BTW I work from 10am to 4pm from Sunday to Friday. So far I've enjoyed working there, cos i love working during weekdays, just stand around, do simple tasks, can get money into my pocket. XD

Well that's about it for now, I didnt took much pictures, cos obviously, i'm working. I try to sneak some more next time, and upload it into my next blog update alright. ^^

Paintball maniacs!

Aaahh, Kuala Lumpur, a city that blooms at day n glows at night. I arrived here last week (4th of Feb) and boy I'm really glad to see skyscrapers when i arrive after 5 hr journey in the bus.

Anyway a point made, now about the next meet up with my campus frens. 5th of Feb, thursday, gathered in KL central. Suppose to b every1 thats from KL gathering, but ended up only 4, Ravin (kambing), Faizal (restless anime boy), Sashdev (harry potter) and me (nickname varies with ppl). XD

So there were change of plans, we went paintball =P, its my 1st paintball.

So here we are, b4 the "battle".

Look at that! If u want to know how it feels being hit by 1 paintball travelling at 260KM/H, go play painball for once yourself. XD

Harry Potter got shot at the head (by Ravin). So did I (3 times in fact, on the helmet n my hair) but its not obvious so I didnt take a photo of it.

Me and Ravin 1 team and the other 2 is on the other team. I first blood Harry, shoot him at the fingers. It bleeded a bit. @,@ Then the next kill was Faizal got shot by me again. =P Check out where it is,

If he didnt wear the helmet, i would have made him gone deaf. That is how me and ravin won the 1st round. The next round those 2 buggers aim me 1st n took me out. My leg injury got it on the 3rd round. There were 4 rounds n we each won 2, so its a tie.

Its a bit unfair that Faizal walkaway uninjured. Anyway then we went to times square for a movie. Watched pink panther 2, good comedy. The chinese new year decos are still up in times square.

8th day of CNY

In the chinese tradition, on the 8th day (which is exactly on 12 am, 3rd of feb) of chinese new year (CNY), chinese have to pray to the sky God. I blogged this late cos i'm in KL now, ntg much to do during the free days here. XD Is kinda bored cos the internet here sux and no online games >,< (mainly DOTA)

Anyway, before the 8th day, the night on the 7th day, I helped them (my family, dad's side) to prepare the praying ceremony. Here are some random pics after the preparation. =P

Chinese New Year!!

Finally! Chinese new year (CNY). After all the suffering at home with lifeless-non-stop-gaming, finally can meet someone and hang out. To me, its all about reunion (3rd priority), collecting ang pau (2nd priority) and gambling (1st priority XD). Check out the number of ang paus i collected (dont even think about asking how much in total i got XD),

Every year, my 1st day is usually visiting families from my dad's side, only in Kulim here. 2nd day is usually visit my step-mother's side, which is in penang. But dunno why delayed until the 4th day only visit. Well 2nd n 3rd day is reunion with my secondary school frenz.

Anyway, the 4th day was cool, gambled whole day XD (of cos small small 1 la, i dont exceed RM5 =P) win or lose doesnt matter, it was fun =D.

After the 4th day, the 5th day was quite interesting. In the morning went out for breakfast with Jo Reem. In the afternoon, met Christine in Queensbay. She also introduced some frens to me cos they wanna study in aimst for degree too. Then evening come back to kulim, with double prosperity chicken burger too. XD Looking forward to next year's new year =P

New Year Shopping!!

Yesterday (11th Jan) was the 1st day hanging out with someone during the 8 month break, at the same time i did my CNY (chinese new year) shopping.

So during the morning after i drove and reached penang, went to see my god-sister, a pharmacy 3rd year student in USM. I forgot to take a picture with her on that day, but i do have 1 with her in aimst.

There she is. XD [how i met her? is a long story :P] She took me a tour around her campus, and its very huge! Again, i was staggered by the size and distracted from her tour that i forgot to take pictures again. So no point going on, readers will feel bored without the pictures. XD

All i can say is she said is 1 of the smallest campus for government colleges. She said colleges like UPM, roads are even like highways, @,@. Imagine the size. (i know i know, dont know, dont care, dont bother :P)

Back to new year's shopping, my destination is queensbay, cos the fren i mentioned that i'm gonna meet is Jo Reem. So here are some pics of the centre part of the mall with CNY theme decorations.

So yeah, we walked around, have some conversations, and look around at some new year sales.

and there were performance too, but didn't observe too much, cos it was more fun reading books in Borders.

I felt so happy reading a book since I haven even touched one for a while that i even bought 1 from the self-improvement section. XD

After that we went and watched the Yes Man movie, it was really hilarious, recommended! Then my shopping for clothes officially starts. :P

Though Jo told me her sense of fashion was not so good, but thats the reason I called someone to teman me shopping. Bought a shirt for RM60 and 2 pants for RM50, well actually is buy 1 free 1. XD (You'll know when i wear it in AIMST)

Ok then we went for dinner in a Japanese restaurant that was recommended by my god-sis at 7.30 pm, called Azuma Fine Dining, its newly open and their japanese theme is very excellent, even the waiters and waitresses use Thank U, Welcome, Come again, all in japanese.

Sorry again, i forgot to take the inside cos i was distracted from its beauty and my hungry stomach. >,<

Anyway I ordered a sushi set and Jo Reem ordered Chicken Teriyaki Set. Believe me its expensive but we pay what we get for, the taste is so good that u feel like u r eating in Japan. XD

Actually its a bit bigger, i ate some of it already :P Theres salmon, tuna, fish eggs, prawn and even octopus.

Her set comes with miso soup, a bowl of rice and something else i cant remember. Wanna take a closer look at the teriyaki chicken?

Must b tasty. After our meal they gave us a ping pong-ball-sized green-tea ice cream, which is included in our set. Did I mention the bottomless green tea they also serve? XD

After our dinner we stayed and left around 9.45 pm, sent her back home and drive back here with a book, 2 pants and 1 shirt, and of cos, a memorable day with a fren. ^^

Test drive NEW CITY

What a memorable day, I just test drove the new Honda City! (Apologize for not taking the pictures with my phone, the promoter didnt allowed me to)

It was awesome! For your info, i'm currently driving a city too, 2004 model, vtec.

Anyway back to the NEW city, when i walk into Honda showroom, 1st impression of the car is, unique styling, my fav part is the front grill.

Don't judge a book by its cover? Well the content in this "book" is unique as well.

There's lotsa head & leg room for both front and back passangers. It is very comfortable. I love the feature where u can plug in yr USB drive or IPOD into the audio system and play.

My fav performance part is the flappy paddle gear box, I had fun with it when I was driving it. XD

Too bad my current city is "tip-tronic" cos it is using CVT (continuous variable transmission). Wanna know more about it? Go to http://auto.howstuffworks.com/cvt2.htm [i know u wouldnt care about knowing it anyway :P]

back to the NEW city again, it has 5 speed semi-auto transmission, Engine 1.5L i-vtec is very powerful when I floor it. Unfortunately i forgotten to try the 5 meter turning diameter cos i was too nervous driving a new car XD

There r lots more great features but i'm not that interested it. But driving it was really exciting, just like the quote they use, "excitement in the City". Haha! If u dont get the picture, just go test drive it yourself and u'll understand. :P

1st time blogging, hope it wont bore readers till its called "plain bored".

Its a new year, and i want to eat up the 8 month holiday's time by blogging.

This is me, cant find a better photo XD

U all might wonder : "what? 8 month holz?" Actually i'm waiting for my degree intake, in AIMST in August. Last year was my foundation year (also in AIMST), [aaaahh, memories. :P] and i just finished it exactly on 31st Dec.

The 1st new thing i tried for this new year is cooking. CHECK IT OUT! My 1st self-home-made spagetti!

I learned it from Fantisizer (Faisal), at least it taste good (not coz i made it myself!), seriously.
